Orange Juice Preparation

Study the following chart and write a paragraph in about a hundred words on how 'Orange Juice' is prepared.

Chart: collecting oranges -- sorting and removing the rotten ones -- cleaning -- smashing -- extracting juice -- adding water and sugar -- pouring into clean dry bottles -- sealing and labelling -- packed into boxes -- sent to the market for sale.
Orange Juice

If you enjoy fresh orange juice (or you only have a surplus of oranges for an overproductive tree), you can make your own orange juice at home following some easy steps that follow

. While it may seem necessary to peel each orange to crush the tender guts, you can make orange juice easier. Removing the skin takes time and is a potentially frustrating experience, especially if you want to make juice with more than a few oranges. On the other hand, it saves time and trouble by leaving the skin on the orange while making the juice.

Step 1
First of all, collect some fresh oranges from the market or your orchard.
Wash your pickles completely under cold running water. While you will be leaving the husk, you should prevent any dirt, chemicals and other contaminants on the surface from entering the juice.

Step 2
Cut each orange in half with a knife on a cutting board. A serrated knife can help you easily cut shells.

Step 3
Place half of the oranges facing up on the citrus juicer so that the centre of the cut portion of the orange is aligned with the centre end of the juicer.

Step 4
Press down the orange smoothly but firmly while rotating it. You should start to see the juice (possibly including seeds and pulp) being poured into the base of the juicer.

Step 5
Keep turning the oranges until you have removed all the juices. Depending on the shape of the orange, this can involve pressing the orange part toward the centre of the juicer while moving it. Remove the relatively bare skin from the half orange you squeezed.

Step 6
Pour the juice from the squeezer into one of the containers. If you have a particularly large or juicy orange or a very small juicer, you may need to do this before making the juice of one orange. Just pour the juice from the juicer into your container each time it is full, and then add the juice again.

Step 7
Keep squeezing half of the orange into the squeezer until you’ve used it up or until you’ve got as much juice as you need or want.

Step 8
Hold the filter directly over the empty container, and slowly pour your juice from the full container through the filter into the empty container. This will remove the seeds and, depending on the size of the holes in the filter, some or all of the pulp.

However, these are the steps to get orange juice prepared at home within a few minutes.
