Merits and Demerits of Online Classes

According to a recent survey, it is found that fifty-four per cent of the students in India are trending to attend online classes perceiving most of the merits and some demerits of online classes. It seems that they are being accustomed to and comfortable with the online learning model. Obviously, the nationwide situation as well as around the world made them compelling to such a learning module.

We are living in the era of the Online. In many ways, we have upgraded ourselves. The education system or learning system has gained a lot of improvements through the Internet. Online classes are a mixing of video recordings and streaming lectures with course reading and tests. We are having both merits and demerits of Online classes.

Presently, online classes provide academic or non-academic teachers with an efficient way to deliver lessons to students. These types of classes have the accessibilities of time and place. Online learning eliminates the cost points of student transportation, student meals and most importantly, real estate.

There are fewer chances of students missing out on lessons as they attend them from home. The online learning system that has a wide range of alternatives and resources, can be personalized in many ways.

For many students, one of the biggest challenges of Online learning is to face focusing on the gadget's screen they are using for a long period of time. Besides, there are issues with technology. Consistent contraction with decent speed is the gravest problem for the students especially living in the countryside.

Online Classes and its merits and demerits
In an online class, there are minimal physical interactions between students and teachers rather than they have in their academic centres. This often results in a sense of isolation for the students while attending online classes. Online learning generally requires teachers to have a basic or comprehensive understanding of using digital forms of learning to grab the latest benefits.


Today many parents are extremely worried about the health hazards of having their children spend so many hours staring at a screen.

These are not the least but the latest advantages and disadvantages of online classes.
