Bengali is considered one of the sweetest languages ​​in the world. The language that is Bengali today was once known as Bangla, Bangla, or Bengali. It is an Indo-Aryan language. This language is now the main spoken and written language of the Bengali nation in South Asia. Bengali is the fifth language of the Indo-European language family in the number of native speakers. Bengali is the sixth-largest language in the world in terms of the total number of users. Bengali is the only state language and official language of the nation-state based on the sovereign language.

Bengali is the official language of the Barak Valley of West Bengal, Tripura and Assam among the states of India. Bengali is the main spoken language of the inhabitants of the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal. Besides, other states of India like Jharkhand, Bihar, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Orissa have a significant number of Bengali speaking people. Records say that Bengali is the second most widely spoken language in India after Hindi.

There are also significant numbers of Bengali-speaking immigrants in the Middle East, America and Europe. In all, more than 26 crore people around the world use Bengali in their daily life. Although the national anthems of Bangladesh and the national anthems and hymns of India are different, they are composed in Bengali.

The history of the Bengali language and its development is about 1300 years old. Charyapada is the original pattern of the Bengali language. The Bengali language took its present form at the end of the eighteenth century through a vast collection of Bengali literature from the eighth century. Bengali script is Bangla script.

There is a slight difference in vocabulary and pronunciation between the Bengali language prevalent in Bangladesh and West Bengal. Bengali language and literature are the ones who have played the most important role in the renaissance of Bengal and the cultural diversity of Bengal and in the development of Bengali nationalism and the formation of Bangladesh.

The Bengali language movement organized in East Bengal from 1948 to 1952 has established the link of Bengali existence with this language. On 21 February 1952, protesting students and activists at Dhaka University sacrificed their lives to demand that Bengali, the mother tongue of the majority, be made the state language. The Bengali Language Introduction Act of 1986 has made the use of Bengali compulsory in all state functions of Bangladesh. In recognition of the struggle of the 1952 language martyrs, UNESCO declared February 21, 1999, as International Mother Language Day.

He has to fight for the existence of a language that has such a deep history to the luxuries of countless inferior Bengalis and non-Bengalis.
