The story of Hidden Treasure and Rat
Who do we call the little ones? There must be differences of opinion among the respondents to this question. Let's understand through a story! Many of you may be familiar with this story of defining the little ones.
Once a zamindar of a village kept many pieces of diamonds in a secret room. Without him, the family would not have known. One day a rat accidentally entered the zamindar's secret room and swallowed a piece of diamond. The next day the zamindar went to inspect the hidden treasures. After counting one by one, his eyes watered. He thought of many plans to find out that rat, anyway. The diamond owner's night's sleep flew away.
To kill the rat, he went to a rat hunter and said that if he could kill the rat and rescue the diamond from his stomach, he would be given a fair wage.
When the hunter arrives at the rat's habitat to kill the rats, he sees thousands upon thousands of rats squabbling with each other, some sitting and some lying down. He was observing one rat lying on its back in a separate place.
Assured he, asked the zamindar to pay his remunerations before catching the rat. The landlord got confused and angry. He asked the hunter, "Where is my diamond? I see you nothing to do and how are you demanding your rewards?"
The hunter grabbed the rat by the shelf and cut its belly with a diamond and gave it to the owner. When the hunter realizes his wages and leaves, the owner is surprised to see the hunter's miracle and asks him,
- How do you know that out of thousands of rats, that rat has swallowed the diamond ..?
The hunter replies,
- Very simple, sir. When a fool suddenly becomes rich,
he associates with his people and associates with them, then considers himself different from the common people.
In today's society, there are some people who behave in a way that when they get more than they deserve, they are the real little ones.
