Notice on Inter-school District Sports Competition

Your school is going to host Inter-school District Sports Competition. Suppose you are the secretary of the Sports Club of your school. Write a notice (within 100 words) calling students to participate in the competition. Mention the time, date and venue of the completion. Your notice should be countersigned by the headmaster/headmistress of your school.

      All the students of Dakshin Kashinagar High School are hereby informed with the exaltation that our school has been given the opportunity of hosting the Inter-school District Sports Competition. The students are further notified that the competition will be held on 21st of December this year on our school ground. The inauguration ceremony will commence at 8am that day. All the events of the competition will be conducted and supervised by our teachers along with the teachers from other schools. The participating students will be divided into four groups comprising two classes. The selected events for the first two groups are 200m sprint, long jump, discuss throw and high jump. Group C and Group D have to compete in 400m sprints, long jump, shot put, spear throw and high jump. The willing students are asked to take part in the competition. Besides the winners ranking up to the third position, every competitor will be awarded a certificate to inspire. It is expected that our athletes will perform to their level best. The other students who will not participate in the competition must come to support their classmates.  For further information, students may contact the sports teacher.
