Trees are the primitive life form existing on the earth. Trees are the best friend of mankind. Tree Plantation Drive is a good approach to sustain and protect ourselves.

                 Tree Plantation Drive

To mark the day a cultural programme based on the essence of Tree Plantation Drive was arranged in the school ground of KHSM Vidyapith(HS) on 23rd February, 2020. At 8am, the programme was inaugurated with a chorus sung by a group of students. The head of the institution presided over the function. Then, in the presence of all the special guest, the chief of grampanchyet, delivered a short speech evaluating the importance of the drive. After the programme was over, the Tree Plantation Drive started with combined efforts of dual dignitaries. Then the rest followed them. My school undertook the noble mission of planting saplings by roads in the entire village of Kuemuri where the school is situated. Besides, some locals and guardians approached to help fencing the saplings. I took part in both sessions including inaguration song and planting saplings. The curriculum for the day will ever stick to my mind. 


            Every single tree saves a life.
