On a hot summer day, a crow was flying here and there in order to search for water. It felt severe thirst. All of a sudden he found a pitcher. Water was at the bottom of the pitcher. The crow repeatedly failed to get its reach. It looked

around helplessly. Then it discovered some pebbles tittered there. The witty crow brought the pebbles and dropped them into the pitcher one by one. Bit by bit water level rose to the brim. The crow happily quenched its thirst. At last, the bird got the reward of its laborious endeavour.
