The Taj Mahal, Indian Heritage

     The Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, is situated at Agra in India. It was built beside river Yamuna in Utter Pradesh. The monument was wholly built of white marble gathered from all over Asia. To keep the promise given to his wife at her death bed, Shah Jahan built this tomb. The construction was fully completed in 1643 AD. The Mughal emperor named it Taj Mahal according to his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later Shah Jahan was buried side by side here. This indian wonderful heritage is the sixth (2018)wonder of the world.
