                          A Road Accident

Lalpur, Biswnupur, South 24th Parganas,25th Sep, 2019 :On a busy road bound to Roydighi and Diamond Harbour an accident occurred on 23rd September, 2019 at 2:23pm at Lalpur, Biswnupur. No death was reported. 
     A passenger bus coming from Diamond Harbour suddenly pressed its break. The driver tried to save a cattle rendering at Lalpur. Fortunately it escaped. But, at once the bus got break failure and collided with a loaded truck stood standstill by the road.Five passengers including a child and a woman out of seventy were injured. Immediately they were sent to local hospital by ambulance. The mother and the child have been still admitted to hospital for betterment. The remaining three were released from the hospital after first aid. Traffic movement was disrupted for an hour due to this mishap. The locals were protesting against such a poor management of traffic. Police were informed. They came there and intervened to get normalcy back.
